50th Doctoral Student at the Institute of Immunology Scientific Symposium

The Institute of Immunology of the Laboratoire National de Santé / CRP-Santé has a long standing training programme for doctoral students. The 50th doctoral student has just started to do her PhD with us and five PhD students have graduated during in the past 12 months. To celebrate this notable occasion, the Institute organized a scientific symposium with contributions from invited speakers, as well as from PhD students in and outside Luxembourg. Prof. Dr. Harald zur Hausen who was awarded the Nobel Prize 2008 for his discovery of human papilloma viruses causing cervical cancer, was one of the keynote speakers.
