Collaborations

The Institute has many collaborations with academic and research institutions in Europe and worldwide. The Institute coordinates or is a member of several networks including:
- the VIRIM Network in the Greater Region (SaarLorLux, Wallonie, Rheinland-Pfalz) which has been awarded the Innovation Network Award in 2004
- the EU COST B28 Action Microrarray technologies for BSL3 and BSL4 Pathogens, of which the Institute is a Workgroup 2 coordinator
- the WHO Laboratory Network for Measles and Rubella of which our Institute is a Regional Reference Laboratory
- the FluLabNet funded by the EU
- the International Research Training Group "Psychoneuroendocrinology of Stress - from molecules and genes to affect and cognition", funded by the "Deutsche Forschungsgesellschaft"
